Ring Size Guide- Find Your Size at Home | KinMarked
You can find your ring size at home in about a minute — no ring sizer, no trip to a jeweler. Print our free guide, then either lay a ring you already own over the circles, or wrap the paper strip around your finger.
Both methods are on the same printable, so print once and use whichever you have.

IMPORTANT: Print at 100%, or "actual size" — not "fit to page." The guide has a credit-card check built in so you know the print came out right. Best done from a computer.
Method 1: Measure a ring you already own
The most accurate way, and the easiest. You need a ring that already fits the finger you have in mind.
- Print the guide at 100% and check it with the credit-card box.
- Lay the ring flat on the page, over the circles.
- Find the circle that fills the ring's opening exactly.
The right circle fills the opening completely — no white gap showing around it, and no part of the circle hidden under the band. The outline should sit right at the inside edge of the band, all the way around.
The guide shows what too small, just right, and too big look like, so you're not guessing.
Method 2: No ring to measure? Use the paper strip
Page two of the printable has a strip you cut out and wrap around your finger.
- Cut along the dashed line to free the strip.
- Wrap it around the base of the finger, pointed end going around first. Snug, but not tight — you should still be able to slide it off over the knuckle.
- Read the number where the pointed end crosses the strip.
A wrapped strip is a little less exact than measuring a ring you own, so if you have a ring that fits, use that instead. If the strip lands you between two numbers, go with the larger.
Please don't use string or thread. It stretches, and it reads small — it's the most common reason a ring arrives too tight.
Between sizes? Round up
If you land between two sizes, choose the larger one. A ring that's slightly loose still gets worn. A ring that won't clear the knuckle doesn't.
When to size up
Wide bands. A wider band has less give going over the knuckle, so it wears tighter than a thin one in the same size. When stacking 2 or more NAME BAND rings, please size up one size, as this is considered a wide band due to them being stacked.
A knuckle larger than the base of your finger. Size so the ring clears the knuckle — then tell us when you order. There are things we can do to keep it from spinning once it's on.
Cold hands, most of the time. If your hands run cold or you'll wear it mostly outdoors in winter, size toward the larger end.
A ring you'll wear every day. Fingers swell in heat, after salty food, during pregnancy, and as the day goes on. Everyday rings are better slightly loose than slightly tight.
Four things that change the reading
Measure midday. Fingers are puffy in the morning and swell again by evening. The middle of the day is closest to your true size.
Be at room temperature. Cold fingers shrink, warm ones spread. Neither reading is the one you want.
Measure the exact finger. Left and right hands differ, and so does every finger on each hand.
Check twice, on two different days. If the two readings disagree, take the larger.
It also helps to skip measuring right after a salty meal, a drink, or a workout.

Common questions
Can I measure with string or a strip of paper I cut myself? We'd rather you didn't. String stretches and paper without markings has to be measured against a ruler, and small errors there turn into a whole size. Our printable strip is marked in ring sizes already.
What if I'm buying it as a surprise? Borrow a ring she already wears on that finger and measure it with Method 1 — she never has to know. If you can only find a ring for a different finger, tell us which one and we'll help you work backward.
Can my ring be resized later? We are able to stretch our rings 1/2 size up. If you need a size adjustment a little larger, please reach out to us at hello@kinmarked.com and we can get you taken care of. We are unable to resize our rings smaller.
My knuckle is much bigger than my finger. What size am I? Size for the knuckle, since the ring has to get past it. Then message us — that's a common situation and we can help.
Does the printable really print to size? Yes, if you print at 100%. There's a credit-card box and an 80mm ruler on the page so you can confirm it before you measure anything.
